It’s a good thing Pitino’s teams won so many games, otherwise I feel there would have been more fuss over them. There was plenty of complaining from BBN, to be sure, but the uniforms were tolerated because the guys wearing them were good. REAL GOOD.


I’ve always said that they can play in overalls and flip flops, as long as they WIN. These Nike Hyper Elite Platinum unis that Kentucky and other Nike schools will wear are just the latest fad. Young people will like them, old folks won’t. As long as Big Blue, er, Gray gets the W, that’s all that really matters.
