UK Sports Info

UK seems to be getting lots of love from Dick Vitale who has been somewhat critical of UK over the past few years.  His criticism started with the calling out of fans for not appreciating Tubby Smith enough for his accomplishments at UK.  Of course most of the college basketball analyst out there were not to fond of UK fans at that point.  I am proud to be a UK fan even in the worst moments, and I am glad that we do not settle mediocrity.  The one thing I can say about Vitale is that he is great for the game and he has a very positive impact on the college game as well as the players.  He may have said some things in the past that rubbed UK fans the wrong way, but he has always been good to the game and the players.  Here is his article from yesterday.

Maybe, just maybe we will have something to report on John Wall today.  I have seen several rumors out there and they are not even worth posting.

Vote on the newest poll….Who gets credit for Orton, Hood and Bledsoe?  Calipari or Gillispie?  After putting the post up, I made the comment that I don’t care who should get the credit, I am just glad those kids are coming to UK.
