Rivals has labeled the 2009 basketball recruiting class as #1 in the country. There is no doubt that UK has the best class, but what does a commitment from Wal l do? Most people think that would put this class as the best all time. It is so hard accurately label a class as the best all time, because of the advance in recruiting and the growth of publicity. The internet has enabled recruiting or scouting guru’s to get as much information out there as possible.

Even though they cheated, the Fab Five from Michigan is a hard class to argue against since they made 2 Final Fours. Obviously, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose and Juwan Howard were very good while Jimmy King and Ray Jackson were not that caliber, but they were pretty dang good as well.

UK’s 2004 class was good with Rondo, Morris, Crawford and Bradley.  However, that class turned out to be a bust with too much drama.
